Foreign Ministry confirms ambassador to Turkey summoned

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed on Saturday afternoon that
Israel’s ambassador to Ankara, Gabby Levy, has been summoned by the
Turkish Foreign Ministry to discuss remarks made by IDF Maj. Gen. Avi
Mizrachi.
Mizrachi slammed Turkish PM Tayyip Erdogan for his criticism of
Israel’s operation against Hamas in Gaza, saying Erdogan should
examine his own country’s conduct in regards to the Armenian and
Kurdish people and the situation in Cyprus before passing
