RUSSIA’S MTS PLANS TO LAUNCH 3G NETWORK IN ARMENIA

Russia’s largest mobile operator MTS plans to launch a third generation
(3G) network in Armenia, Chinese telecommunications equipment maker
Huawei, which will supply equipment for the project, said in a
statement obtained by Prime-Tass Monday.
The commercial launch of the 3G network is scheduled for sometime in
March-May, Huawei said.
