According to the decree of the President of the Republic of Armenia,
Mr. Serzh Sargsyan, dated November 10, Vardan Gevorgyan (Mayor of
Kajaran), Samvel Darbinyan (Mayor of Vanadzor), Taron Margaryan
(Head of Avan community of Yerevan) and Suliko Shushanyan (Head of
Shorza village in Gegharkunik marz) were awarded Anania Shirakatsi
medals for their contribution to the development of communities of
the Republic of Armenia, President’s Press Office reported.
