`We aim to win world cup’
Baku. Mehman Suleymanov – APA-SPORT. `I announced in Turkey before the
departure that we are going to play, not to fight. We don’t intend to
take responsibility of the history between two nations. Armenia `
Turkey match will be a step to build good ties. I want to thank for
warm welcome in Armenia’, Turkey coach Fatih Terim told a press
conference ahead of 2010 World Cup qualifier against Armenia.
`Our league started late this year. We just played two games. We may
seem not prepared fully; but our players do not bring along their
issues to their play in the national team’, Terim told the reporters.
The manager noted his team performed a good play in Euro 2008 and
scored bronze medal. He added that they had prepared a lot for the
competition.
`You shouldn’t relate all success with luck. We hadve gained much
experience and we aim to become world champion’, he said.
