THE COUNCIL OF EUROPE SECRETARY GENERAL TO VISIT AZERBAIJAN

Davis, the Council of Europe (CE) Secretary General plans to visit
Azerbaijan in December.

"The visit targets to participate in a conference of the CE
member-countries’ Culture Ministers to be held in Baku on 2 and 3
December," Arif Mammadov, the Azerbaijani permanent representative
at the CE said over telephone from Strasburg on 1 September.

During the visit to Baku, the CE Secretary General will hold
negotiations with the Azerbaijani authorities and these negotiations
will focus on democratic processes, as well as settlement of the
Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
