TURKEY PREPARED TO ACT AS MEDIATOR IN AZERBAIJAN’S INTEGRATION TO NATO: AMBASSADOR

Azerbaijan, Baku, 24 June / corr. TrendNews S. Agayeva/ Turkey is
prepared to support Azerbaijan in its integration to NATO.
" Turkey is ready to act as a mediator in Azerbaijan’s integration
to NATO," Khulusi Kilij, the Ambassador of Turkey to Azerbaijan said
in Baku on 24 June.
Azerbaijan is the active member of the international community in
a fight against the international terrorism and it struggles for
peace and stability in the region, Ambassador said. " Azerbaijan
is a country who has suffered from the aggression and who has lost
part of its territories in the early years of its independence and
it has gained a worthy place in the world community," Kilij said. "
Turkey has supported and will always support Azerbaijan and its right
to struggle for the release of its territories from the Armenian
occupation," he said.
