23-25 SPORTSMEN PRESENT ARMENIA IN OLYMPIC GAMES
23-25 sportsmen from Armenia will take part in Olympic
Games in Pekin, said the Minister of Sport and Youth
Affairs Armen Grigoryan in a meeting with journalists
today.
He said that the figure is not definite yet as the
International Olympic Committee should confirm it.
-Every country is given white cards invitation in
every Olympic Games which is decided by IOC,- said the
minister. Possibly swimming and light athletic will be
receive the cards.
-All the organizational problems are solved and for
this reason special committee is formed to meet the
requirements,- he said and added that the special
uniforms of our sportsmen are already ready which are
in the colorings of Armenian flag.
The minister said that the uniforms are made by
-Adidas- company. Albert Azaryan will hold our flag
during the march. He also said that the sportsmen are
under medical control all the time.
