According to RA Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandyan: "The status of
Karabakh is the core of the negotiations, which must be solved by
a referendum. It will give a chance to the people of Karabakh to
express their free will regarding the future status of NKR.

There are certain proposals, made as a result of the long-lasting
work of Minsk Group co-Chairs, and the negotiations must continue on
that basis.

Armenian party has already expressed its readiness to continue the
negotiation process, on that basis."
