LOS ANGELES, MAY 14, ARMENIANS TODAY – NOYAN TAPAN. The Union of
Armenian Dramatic Art has published the names of the William Saroyan
dramatic art contest’s three prize-winners. They are Lily Tomasian’s
creation "Nadia," Christen Lazarian’s "Meat and Tenderness," and
Matthew Yaldezian’s "The Live and the Dead." The bids of performances
have been accepted from the United States, United Kingdom, and
Armenia. Non-abridged plays in English and on Armenian subject were
to be presented for participation.
