GUAM PLANNING TO SUBMIT RESOLUTION ON FROZEN CONFLICTS TO UN

/PanARMENIAN.Net/ The GUAM member countries (Georgia, Ukraine,
Azerbaijan, Moldova) are planning to introduce a resolution on frozen
conflicts to the UN.

Azeri Deputy Foreign Minister Araz Azimov said the draft resolution
in still on the UN agenda and is awaiting vote.

"Azerbaijan has already made the first step. Adoption of the resolution
"On the situation in the occupied territories of Azerbaijan" will
strengthen political will of our partners," he said.

Commenting on tomorrow’s OSCE MG meeting with the Mr Alexander
Stubb, the OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Azimov said it will be a working
meeting. "Azerbaijan is expecting the OSCE MG Co-chairs to reply to
the questions they were asked during the NATO summit in Bucharest,"
he said, Day.az reports.
