The Congress of Canadian Armenians will hold a special evening on April
19 in honour of John Evans, the Former Ambassador of the United States
of America to Armenia. As it is mentioned in the message provided
by the Congress, Evans sacrificed his diplomatic career by publicly
acknowledging the Armenian Genocide, an action that resulted in his
being recalled from Yerevan in 2006.
