KOCHARIAN: SITUATION IN YEREVAN STABILIZING

/PanARMENIAN.Net/ Armenian President Robert Kocharian met Thursday
with Council of Europe Commissioner for Human Rights, Mr Thomas
Hammarberg to discuss the post-election situation in the republic,
the RA leader’s press office reported.
"Unfortunately we failed to avoid undesirable course of events and
the authorities had to take action.
However, the situation is stabilizing and the emergency rule’s
limitations have been moderated twice," the RA President said.
The parties noted the importance of soonest normalization of the
internal political situation.
