Gross agricultural output increase 9.6% in Armenia in 2007
YEREVAN, February 8. /ARKA/. Gross agricultural output increased by
9.6% in Armenia in 2007 compared with 2006, the CIS Statistical
Committee reports.
The average increase of gross agricultural output in the CIS totaled
2% in 2007.
8.4% gross agricultural output increase was recorded in Kazakhstan in
the reporting period. In Tajikistan the index totaled 6.5%, in
Belarus 4.1%, in Azerbaijan 4%, in Russia 3.3% and in Kyrgyzstan the
gross agricultural output increased by 1.6%. IN Moldova and Ukraine
the gross agricultural output rates decreased by 23.1% and 5.6%
respectively.
Uzbekistan cut the gross agricultural output by 3.5% in
January-September. No data are available on Georgia and Turkmenistan.
