LORD RUSSELL JOHNSTON ARRIVING IN BAKU

February 7 President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of
Europe (PACE) Subcommittee on Nagorno Karabakh Lord Russell Johnston
will arrive in Baku. Representative of the Council of Europe Office
in Azerbaijan informs that the visit is aimed at discussing the
preparation of the interparliamentary conference on the Karabakh
conflict resolution scheduled for April 18 in Strasbourg.

In the framework of the visit Lord Russell Johnston will meet with
the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, Parliament Speaker Oktay
Asadov and leaders of the parliamentary parties
