BAKU, OCTOBER 31, ARMENPRESS: Azerbaijani president Ilham Aliyev has
resumed his war rhetoric telling yesterday a group of military cadets
that Azerbaijan must be ready to win back its lands by using force.
He was quoted by Turkish daily Zaman as saying that Azerbaijan is in a
state of war and everyone must be ready at any moment for resumption
of military actions ‘to bring back Azerbaijani lands, occupied by
Armenia.’ Aliyev boasted of $1.3 million military budget earmarked for
next year saying the country will allocate funds to buy new hardware,
weapons and ammunition, and will create a powerful military-industrial
complex and improve the professionalism of the military.
