Armenian Prime Minister Serzh Sarkisyan said on Friday the task of
Armenia’s diplomatic missions in foreign countries should be stronger
protection of Armenian companies’ interests abroad and expansion of
goal-oriented economic activities.

At meeting with heads of Armenia’s embassies and consulates, he said
one of the key conditions for the republic’s economic development is
attraction of big foreign companies into Armenia’s economy.

"They bring rich experience to different spheres, create new jobs
and may help attract attention and create good attitude to Armenia
in their countries," he said.

Armenia has embassies in 26 countries and is represented in seven
international organizations.
