ARMENIA AND GERMANY TO DISCUSS BOOSTING COOPERATION

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 10, ARMENPRESS: On September 11-12 high-ranking
government officials of Germany and Armenia will convene in Yerevan
for two-day negotiations on boosting cooperation, Armenian economy
and finance ministry said today.

It said the Armenian delegation will be headed by economy and finance
minister Vartan Khachatrian and the German delegation by Rolf Baldus,
head of a German economic cooperation and development ministry’s
department on the South Caucasus and Central Asia.

The negotiations’ agenda will be toped by issues related to
implementation of joint projects encompassing finance, private sector,
energy, water, nature protection and other sectors.

The sides will also discuss an agreement on excluding double
taxation. The two-day talks will be wrapped up by a memorandum.
