BAKU: KLO Activists Released With Warning

KLO ACTIVISTS RELEASED WITH WARNING

Organization (KLO) activists had planned to demonstrate against the
Armenian Interior Minister’s visit to Baku, but instead were detained
by policemen, Akif Nigi, the chairman of the organization, told Trend
News Agency. Activists were set free after receiving a warning.

The meeting of the Interior Ministers of the CIS countries was held
in Baku on 6 September. The KLO protests against the visit of the
Armenian Interior Minister to Baku.

The KLO was planning to protest in front of the Hayat Regency Hotel,
police, however, thwarted the organization’s intent.
