Pashinyan says he will take every possible step to ensure Catholicos of All Ar

An investigative commission on the Church must be established, and its work should lead to legislative initiatives and an end to the “usurpation” of the Church, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan told reporters.

“God’s rational flock must fully participate in the governance of the Church,” he said.

Pashinyan said there should be no priest in Armenia who does not receive a salary.

He reiterated that the Catholicos of All Armenians must step down and said he would do everything in his power to bring this about.
