The Ararat Marz Prosecutor’s Office, within the framework of the authority to protect state (community) interests, filed a lawsuit on March 20, 2026 with the Anti-Corruption Court against the head of the Jermuk community and the “World of Animals” SP company, with demands to declare the auction of a plot of land with an area of ​​0.3 ha on January 27, 2008 invalid and to apply the consequences of invalidity.

The anti-corruption court, by its decision of August 12, 2026, satisfied the claim of the prosecutor’s office of Ararat region. The auction of the 0.3 ha plot in Gndevaz settlement was invalidated by the decision. As a consequence of the invalidity of the auction, among other things, the state registration of the ownership right to the land in the name of the SP company “World of Animals” was declared invalid.

After the judgment enters into legal force, the land area of ​​0.3 ha will be returned to the Jermuk community.
