“We learned from the mother university’s website that the American Research Institute of the South Caucasus (ARISC), which operates within YSU, is organizing an online scientific conference on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of its foundation, which is dedicated to the multifaceted study of the history, politics, culture and society of the South Caucasus: Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia.

We think it is clear why they decided to include the history and culture of Azerbaijan in the online conference held at the parent university. Yerevan State University, as a structure attached to the CP, implements CP policies, and Hovhannes Hovhannisyan, whose term of office as the rector expires in December this year, has decided to get in the eyes of the authorities at any cost, promoting their pro-Azerbaijani ideas.

Let’s remind that “Return to Western Azerbaijan” conferences are organized in Azerbaijan, viewing the entire territory of Armenia as “Western Azerbaijan”, and our historians, public figures, instead of denying these distortions of history, organize conferences in Armenia focused on the history of Azerbaijan.
