Armenian fish farmers are protesting in front of the government building, demanding a meeting with one of the deputy prime ministers.
The participants of the action claim that despite yesterday’s announcement by the Minister of Economy, Gevorg Papoyan, that the EU market for Armenian fish products has been opened, in reality it remains inaccessible.
Those gathered said that they do not want to meet with the minister, because the previous discussions did not yield results. They emphasize that the support programs implemented by the government are not effective, and new approaches to the sector are needed.
