I am a soldier, I am alien to ambiguous steps and words. This is how colonel, detective Artur Avanesyan, Kandaz, began his speech at the “Strong Armenia” party rally.
“There is one clear thing for me: the motherland must be protected. And if today’s authorities do not protect our homeland, we will change those authorities,” he emphasized, assuring that he is a soldier of the change struggle that will prevent wars.
“As a soldier, I know the price of peace best because I know the price of war better than most. I have seen my friends die in war, and I myself have paid a heavy personal price for it. However, death is not so terrible, it is more terrible to live as if dead,” he said, stressing that RA security will be strengthened, and a strong and lasting peace will be established.
