Persons under house arrest in RA will have the opportunity to vote. RA Deputy Minister of Justice Gevorg Kocharyan said this during the extraordinary session of the National Assembly.
“This right is not limited by the Constitution, so the right of people to vote must be exercised. We have had and continue to have working discussions with all interested competent authorities, we will find solutions to exercise the right of these persons to participate in the election.
I think that there will be no need for road legislative changes, we will find practical solutions. Nevertheless, if the need arises, we will, of course, take the initiative, but I think it will not be necessary,” he said.
