In particular, during the preliminary investigation, it was established that on March 8, 2026, the victim had an argument with his friend, A.S., in the area of the buildings of Kanaker-Zeytun administrative district, during which the latter hit the victim’s back and abdomen twice with a knife he had, killing him, and then ran away.
A public criminal prosecution was initiated against A.S. under Article 155, Part 1 (murder) of the Criminal Code.
On March 9, 2026, the person who apparently committed the murder was arrested and later taken into custody.
