Only “surviving” Armenian church in Turkey’s Cappadocia in danger of collapsing (PHOTOS)

The Armenian Church located in Sivrihisar village of Guzelyurt district of Aksaray Province of Turkey and presumably built in the 5th or 6th century—and is now called Kizil—is constantly being destroyed by treasure hunters.

According to Akunq.net, the only “surviving” Armenian church in Cappadocia is constantly attacked by treasure hunters.

The World Monuments Fund has been put this church on its list of the 100 Most Endangered Sites in the world.
