There will be no forgiveness for the crimes committed against the Armenian state and statehood, regardless of the reasons and the status of perpetrators, leader of the opposition One Armenia party Artur Ghazinyan said on Tuesday.
“Whether it is the prime minister, a minister, a judge, a prosecutor or an investigator, everyone must face the full force of the law.
“Especially in the case of judges, prosecutors and investigators, the punishment should be much heavier, because due to their criminal inaction, politicians betrayed the homeland, provoked a war, sacrificed more than 10,000 soldiers and handed over the sovereign territories of Armenia and Artsakh to the enemy,” the opposition figure wrote on Facebook.
“The criminal proceedings will reveal whether the actions of the prosecutor and the head of the Special Investigative Service are based on criminal negligence or support for high treason,” he added.
