Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan wrote the following on his Facebook page in regard to the girl who ripped the booklet published as part of the YES campaign for the referendum for constitutional amendments and threw it at the Prime Minister in a metro wagon today:

“I consider this the greatest campaign for saying YES to the referendum for constitutional amendments because this young woman’s safety isn’t at risk, nobody will carelessly push and shove her in a nearby restroom, and she will continue to live her life, express her views freely and won’t be fired by an employer because she is living and will live in Free and Happy Armenia.

She is a Proud Citizen of the Republic of Armenia, and I, as Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, consider it my duty to make sure she fully exercises her rights. Dukhov (with spirit), dear people, dukhov.” Nikol Pashinyan also posted the video in which the young girl rips the YES booklet and throws it at the Prime Minister.
