The developments and events regarding the security environment around Armenia are taking place within the framework of the Security Council’s predictions and assessments, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said at a Security Council meeting on September 17.

“Regarding the security environment around the Republic of Armenia we can record that the events and developments are taking place within the framework of forecasts and assessments, which means that we are basically adequately assessing the security situation, the environment’s development, and which in turn means that our preparations and works regarding the improvement of Armenia’s security situation and state structure’s works are tantamount to ongoing developments, which is very important,” Pashinyan said.

The PM stated that a very concrete agenda of the Security Council’s activities has been developed.

“We are moving forward with this agenda, and the range of items of discussion today also fits in this agenda, and we are recording concrete results from our side in the direction of the solution of issues outlined by the Security Council, and we must recap the results that we have with today’s situation and outline future actions,” he added.
