YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 6, ARMENPRESS. Soon Armenia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Zohrab Mnatsakanyan and Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Elmar Mammadyarov will hold another meeting.

FM Mnatsakanyan confirmed it to a news conference today but didn’t disclose specific timeframes.

“Our government has very clearly expressed the seriousness of our intentions to actively work in the direction of the peaceful settlement process of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict, and the number of the meetings this year between the foreign ministers and leaders of the two countries is already showing this seriousness. Our meeting is outlined, it will take place soon, we have an agreement to announce the meeting simultaneously and naturally I wouldn’t want to breach it [agreement],” Mnatsakanyan said.

Mnatsakanyan and Mammadyarov last met on June 20 in the United States.

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
