A1+: Aram Harutyunyan: Aleksanyan and Pashinyan have chocolate-relationships (video)

According to Aram Harutyunyan, leader of the National Accord party, the government has not fulfilled its promises.

“Today, the promises made in the square are not fulfilled, I mean the corruption. According to rumors circulating in the air, number one corruption maker in Armenia is Nikol Pashinyan. If at that time, money was brought to 26 Baghramyan by baggage, there is now a tax collector. The fact that Nikol Pashinyan’s relative works in the system of Samvel Aleksanyan as the head of the cadre department states that Aleksanyan and Pashinyan have chocolate-relationships. Where is Gagik Khachatryan, where is the shadow that is said? We see no serious changes.”

As for the economic revolution, Aram Harutyunyan thinks there are no reforms and there is no hope.

And Hovik Aghazaryan, a member of the “My Step” faction, responded that there is no corruption in the upper level, it does not rule out the presence of corruption in middle and low level.

The deputy said: “If an announcement is made that they pay the money, so then give also names.”

Contrary to this, Aram Harutyunyan gave the name of Gagik Khachatryan, to which Aghazaryan replied that Gagik Khachatryan will soon have to answer for his legal actions.

According to sociologist Aharon Adibekyan, it is too early to talk about the economic revolution.

“There were $ 3 billion coming from outside, and now it has dropped three times. That $ 3 billion kept our middle and small business. Take a walk around the streets of Yerevan, how many kiosks and small shops have been closed, there is no buyer.”

Remember the cases of March 1,” says Gevorg Safaryan.

Safaryan underlines that during the court session, Smbat Barseghyan’s supporters only applauded and it could not hinder the session. In his conviction, the court decision was deliberate to conceal the criminal case.

The former payers now pay to Nikol Pashinyan – Aram Harutyunyan (video)

Aram Harutyunyan, President of the National Consensus Party, is convinced that corruption has not disappeared.

“The fact that Nikol Pashinyan used to say that the money was taken to Serzh Sargsyan with the suitcases, now those who are carrying this money are free, they continue to prosper, no one goes after them.”

Aram Harutyunyan thinks that if they are not followed, so they now pay Nikol Pashinyan.

“They can now take by backpacks or deliver in some way. The system says corruption has disappeared. What does it mean? Those people who robbed, where is this money? Does it enter the state budget? It is not seen.

Why . հայ (.hay) domain is not popular in Armenia

ARKA, Armenia
Feb 7 2019

YEREVAN, February 7. /ARKA/.  The .Հայ (.hay) domain, an Internet country code top-level domain, provided to Armenia by the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN), designated for two-letter country code AM, and  intended for domain names in the Armenian language, active since 2016, is not progressing because of the way the full stop punctuation mark is used in the Armenian language, vice-president of the Internet Society (ISOC) public organization Grigory Saghiyan told reporters on Thursday.

He said after the Armenian transcription of the full stop was introduced  (in Armenian, full stop punctuation mark  looks like a Russian or English colon, while one dot  means a colon), electronic systems recognized it. However, now  the systems do not recognize the full stop as such, perceiving it as a colon.

According to him, as a result  the sites are not recognized by the servers. The  system does not go to  the domain, but sends the user to a search engine. He said the Armenian IT community plans to hold public discussions to look into  the expediency of replacing these symbols.

According to Saghiyan, the use of Armenian-language domain names provides owners with a number of advantages, including marketing ones, since regional domain names are first of all issued in search engines.

Liana Galstyan, head of external relations of the Internet Society, noted that at the moment 300 sites are registered in the new domain zone, including commercial organizations and government agencies, but  not all of them actively use their sites, mainly doing it to redirect to their sites with Latin names. She said the domain is free for schools.

The Latin domain .am is the official domain of Armenia, which  appeared in August 1994. –0–

Writing in Armenian letters in internet becomes trendy

ARKA, Armenia
Feb 7 2019

YEREVAN, February 7. /ARKA/. February 7 is marked in Armenia as the Day of Using Armenian Letters on the Internet.  It was first held in 2012, when a blogger Zohrab Yeghanyan asked Internet users to use Armenian letters instead of transliterating Armenian words in Latin and Cyrillic letters. Since then, along with the development of technology, more and more users are switching to the Armenian alphabet.

“In fact,  writing in Armenian letters has become trendy, especially given the availability of Armenian keyboards on smartphones, tablets and other gadgets” Liana Galstyan from Internet Society public organization, told reporters on Thursday.

“Armenian users began to write more often in the Armenian language on the Internet, moreover, a reverse tendency has appeared when Russian and English words are also written in Armenian transliteration,” Galstyan said.

She said the use of Latin or Cyrillic letters when writing Armenian words caused certain difficulties due to some linguistic nuances and the impossibility of transcribing some Armenian letters in other languages.

Switching to the Armenian alphabet allowed registering unprecedented advances in the technology market; in particular, the Armenian keyboard layout and applications in Armenian appeared not only on computers, but also smartphones, in the Android operating system, in Windows, and also in Apple gadgets.

Armenians began using Latin letters in the mid-90s of the 20th century, when the first mobile phones appeared in the country without Armenian keyboards. –0—
