Yuri Khachaturov has been appointed Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization, RIA Novosti reports.
Khachaturov will take office from May 2, 2017, acting Secretary General Valery Semerikov told reporters today.
He said the decision was unanimously taken at the CSTO informal summit in Bishkek.
