A bill on penalizing the denial of genocide has been introduced in
the Cyprus Parliament, Turkish Hurriyetreports.
The bill presented jointly by all political parties represented in
the Cyprus Parliament envisages sanctions for denying genocides and
crimes against humanity.
The bill is timed for the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.
A similar measure is expected to be on the agenda of the Greek
parliament next week.
