Armenian parliament’s deputy speaker to visit Saeima
RIGA, March 13 (LETA) – Armenian Vice President of the National
Assembly Eduard Sharmazanov arrives in Latvia today to visit Saeima,
as the Saeima Press Service informed LETA.
During the visit, the Armenian parliament’s deputy speaker will meet
with Saeima deputy speakers Inese Libina-Egnere (Unity) and Gundars
Daudze (Greens/Farmers), as well as Saeima Secretary Andrejs
Klementjevs (Harmony) and Chairman of the Saeima Group for Cooperation
with the Armenian Parliament, Sergejs Potapkins (Harmony).
Sharmazanov will also meet with the Foreign Ministry’s State Secretary
Andrejs Pildegovics and visit the exhibition “Armenian Genocide:
Frontpage Coverage in the World Press” at the Latvian National
Library.
Sharmazanov’s visit to Latvia will continue until March 15.
