ARMENIA’S MEMBERSHIP IN EURASIAN ECONOMIC UNION LESSENS OBSTACLES FOR ARMENIAN EXPORTS TO UNION COUNTRIES
YEREVAN, February 12. /ARKA/. Ara Nranyan, a member (minister) of
the board of the Eurasian Economic Commission, said today at his
meeting with Armenian entrepreneurs held as part of Prodexpo-2015
in Moscow that Armenia’s membership in the Eurasian Economic Union
lessens obstacles in exporting Armenian products to the union member
countries, the Eurasian Economic Commission’s press office reports.
Armenia joined the Eurasian Economic Union on January 2, 205. Nranyan
presented advantages of the membership and new export prospects to
the entrepreneurs.

Procedures in movement of exports, capital and labor resources between
Armenian and other countries of the union have already simplified.
Nranyan said.
The Eurasian Economic Union treaty, signed by Russia, Belarus and
Kazakhstan on May 29 in Astana, takes force on January 2, 2015.
Armenia signed its accession agreement on October 10, 2014.
The Eurasian Economic Commission started functioning on February
2, 2012. The Eurasian Economic Union member countries – Russia,
Belarus, Kazakhstan and Armenia must comply with any decision of the
