Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan had a meeting with His Holiness
Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenian, and
His Holiness Aram I, Catholicos of the Great House of Cilicia.
Ahead of the expected meeting of the State Commission coordinating
the events dedicated to the 100thanniversary of the Armenian Genocide,
the interlocutors discussed the activities of the commission and the
participation of the Holy Armenian Apostolic Church in the activities
on the international and inter-religious arena and in the Diaspora.
Reference was made to state-church relations, the most significant
issues of the national-religious life and the existing challenges.
