ARMENIANS WISHING TO VISIT IRAN CAN RECEIVE ENTRY VISA ON THE BORDER

YEREVAN, 29 DECEMBER, ARMENPRESS. Ambassador Extraordinary and
Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Armenia Mohammad
Reisi has sent a congratulatory message to the President of the
Republic of Armenia, to the Catholicos of All Armenians and to the
Armenian people on the occasion of the New Year. The following is
mentioned in the congratulatory message provided by the Embassy:

“Honorable President of the Republic of Armenia, Mr. Serzh Sargsyan,
His Holiness Karekin II, Catholicos of All Armenians, sincere
people of Armenia, as Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran,
s representative of Armenia’s friendly and neighboring country and
nation that has had good, bilateral relations with the Armenian people
for centuries, on behalf of the Iranian government and people, I
would like to congratulate you on the New Year and a joyful Christmas.

I am pleased with the deep and positive relations between the two
nations and governments and am certain that both countries have
willpower to enhance the mutually beneficial relations. Good programs
have been developed for the expansion of relations during the meetings
held with high-ranking officials over the past couple of months.

Taking the opportunity, I would like to inform that a representation
of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has opened on the border between
Iran and Armenia. It will open its doors early next year and will
provide entry visas to Armenians wishing to visit Iran. Once again,
I congratulate you and all Armenians, especially Iranian-Armenians on
the New Year and the birth of prophet of peace and friendship Jesus
Christ and wish you happiness and welfare.
