GLOBAL ECOLOGICAL FUND TO GRANT ARMENIA $7.9 MILLION

The Global Ecological Fund (GEF) will grant Armenia $7.9 million for
ecological projects in 2014-2018, News.am reports.
Armenia needs to present a financing program until late September
2014. Preliminary proposals were made at a GEF council: two for
prevention of climate change, six for soil, ten for protection of
biological diversity. Minister for Ecology Aramais Grigoryan proposed
presentation of a scientific ideas for solution of ecological proposals
in a week.
