The Georgian Military Road will be restored in two weeks, said Georgian
President Georgy Margvelashvili who has visited the disaster-struck
area today, News Georgia reports.

The pipeline supplying Armenia with Russian gas was damaged by a
mudslide that blocked the road in the Darial Gorge yesterday.

Margvelashvili reminded that the pipeline had been fixed quickly last
time. The Kazbegi / Verkhny Lars Checkpoint will remain closed for
an indefinite time.
