August 9, 2014 12:33

On 9 August the Artsakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan received
official delegation of the Republic of Armenia composed of a group
members of the National Assembly and the Cabinet of Ministers headed
by the republic’s premier Hovik Abrahamyan.

As the Central Information Department of the Artsakh President’s
Office informed “Artsakhpress” issues related to economic cooperation
between Artsakh and Armenia were discussed during the talks.

Special attention was paid to the situation along the borderline. Both
sides mentioned that the RA and NKR were proponents of the
Azerbaijani-Karabagh conflict’s peaceful settlement, underlining at
the same time that Armenia and Artsakh would jointly defend if
necessary the independence and security of the two Armenian states,
the honor and dignity of the Armenian nation. NKR NA chairman Ashot
Ghoulyan, prime-minister Ara Haroutyunyan and other officials were
present at the meeting.

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
