Un comite d’architectes et d’ingenieurs nommes par Sa Saintete Aram
1er a travaille sur la transformation du monastère de Bikfaya pour
recevoir les pèlerins, qui, en 2015, viendront de la diaspora pour
se joindre aux manifestations commemoratives. La zone autour du
monument de genocide a ete elargie et de nouveaux monuments sont
eriges pour rappeler l’histoire du genocide et les souffrances du
peuple armenien causees par la Turquie. De nouveaux bâtiments sont
construits pour fournir de l’espace pour le clerge ainsi que pour les
activites commemoratives. Certains projets ont deja ete realises et
d’autres seront prets pour avril 2015.

VISITE DU CHEF DE LA DIPLOMATIE RUSSE EN ARMENIE

ARMENIE

La visite officielle de Sergueï Lavrov constitue le principal sujet
d’actualite. Il s’est entretenu avec le President Sarkissian et son
homologue Edward Nalbandian. Le President Sarkissian a souligne,
selon le communique de son service de presse, que les engagements
armeno-russes souscrits depuis le 3 septembre dernier ont enrichi
l’agenda armeno-russe et que leur mise en oeuvre contribuera a
rehausser encore le niveau des relations bilaterales dans tous les
domaines. M. Lavrov a affirme que le President Poutine demeurait
attache a la mise en oeuvre des engagements armeno-russes. Il a dit
avoir discute avec son homologue armenien de tout le spectre de la
cooperation bilaterale, dont la cooperation economique, commerciale,
militaro-technique et humanitaire, de l’assouplissement des règles
migratoires russes pour les migrants armeniens, ainsi que du
partenariat dans le cadre de l’OTSC et de la CEI, de
son pays >. Le moment est
venu, selon M. Lavrov, de trouver un accord quant a la mise en oeuvre
des principes de règlement et aux mesures a prendre en ce sens : . Le quotidien Aravot
relève que la visite de M. Lavrov n’a pu apporter, contrairement aux
attentes, aucune precision quant aux eventuelles dates de signature
par l’Armenie d’un accord d’adhesion.

Ukraine- Sergueï Lavrov a declare que la Russie soutenait les efforts
visant a lancer le dialogue national en Ukraine et y apportait sa
contribution.

LE VICE-PRESIDENT DU PARLEMENT EUROPEEN S’EST RENDU AU HK

ARMENIE

Hayastani Hanrapetoutioun et Haykakan Jamanak suivent la visite
du vice-President du Parlement europeen, Jacek Protasiewicz,
a Stepanakert, qui, selon Haykakan Jamanak, est devenu ainsi la
personnalite europeenne la plus haut placee a avoir visite le HK. Il a
discute avec le > Bako Sahakian des > entre Stepanakert et Bruxelles, ainsi que de l’etape
actuelle du règlement du conflit du HK. Haykakan Jamanak constate
ces derniers temps un vif interet des instances europeennes pour le HK.

ARMENIANS PROTEST AGAINST SURGE IN ELECTRICITY PRICES (VIDEOS)

A protest action against the surge in electricity prices began
Tuesday morning in front of the Public Services Regulatory Commission
in Yerevan.

The crowd was urging the police to open their way to the building
to allow them to take part in the Commission’s session which was to
discuss the new tariffs of electric power.

Valery Osikyan, a deputy head of the Yerevan Police who was at the
protest site, said the activists could not be physically present at
the meeting hall, but his statement was met with angry remarks. The
crowd kept demanding that the police open the way.

Armen Martirosyan, a deputy leader of the opposition Heritage party,
and Ishkhan Khachatryan, a member of the Rule of Law party, have also
joined the protest.

“RED-BERETS” ARE FORCIBLY TAKING PEOPLE OUT OF THE STREET

Protestors sat on the ground in front of the Public services regulatory
commission by closing Saryan Street. At this moment there is a clash
between protestors and policemen.

We remind that action participants gave five minutes to the police
and the commission so that they either stop the session or ensure
their participation, or else they will take other measures.

Shortly before “red-berets” entered Saryan Street and began forcibly
take people out of the street. Some of the participants, though,
don’t move from the ground.

HAK member Levon Zurabyan, Armen Martirosyan from “Heritage”, RA
president’s former candidate Andrias Ghukasyan, politician Styopa
Safaryan have also came to Saryan 22.

They are negotiating with the policemen by stressing that no protestor
violates the public order and the action is peaceful. According to
the activists, this time Valery Osipyan speaks with the people more
attentively.

The people are demanding to cancel the Public services regulatory
committee session. Electricity price issue is being discussed at
the session.

MILITARY POSITIONS MUST BE IMPROVED LIKE IN NAKHIDJEVAN

On June 28 Armen Brutyan, 12 was wounded by the enemy’s gunshot. The
boy was working in the vineyard. He has undergone surgery and is
getting better.

The Armenian Time reported that people in Tavush think it is necessary
to improve our military positions. The example of Nakhidjevan is
brought where after the incident in early June, according to different
information, taking control of about 100 square meters of territories.

Tavush is under constant fire which kills both soldiers and peaceful
citizens, including children. Farmers cannot work their land which
affects the people’s social and psychological situation. Besides,
the rate of migration from border villages is too high.

Community roads of the region are also under fire and are therefore
often closed. The government of Armenia has decided to build
alternative roads but obviously it is not a solution.

In fact, we are dealing with violations of international law and a
lot of conventions. This gives the Armenian side the right to take
measures to ensure the security of the peaceful population. Such
precedents are many in different countries and an accepted practice.

This is the duty of the government.

Tavush Union of Compatriots has made a statement addressing
international organizations. “We will found the volunteer border guard
brigade of Tavush uniting the efforts of the people of Tavush. The
members of the brigade will be determined to unite with Tavush
the formerly Armenian territory of Ghazakh, finally resolving the
territorial issue with Azerbaijan regarding Tavush,” the statement
holds.

To achieve change, it is necessary to use all the opportunities. In
this case, not only the issue of security of the peaceful population
will be resolved but also people’s morale will be boosted.

Unfortunately, the other methods known in the world are not effective
enough.
