Chess: Another Armenian chess player wins int’l tournament

Armenian grandmaster Tigran Nalbandian scored 8 points out of 9 and
took the first prize at Helmut-Kohls Memorial that was held by the
round robin system in Dortmund, Germany, Armchess.am reports.

Three more Armenian grandmasters celebrated successes in international
competitions earlier this week.

Karen Grigoryan won an open tournament in Barcelona, Spain, Tigran
Petrosian won the Miguel Najdorf International Chess Festival in
Warsaw, Poland, and GM Levon Babujian shared 1st-2nd places with
another player at the Nana Aleksandria Cup in Poti, Georgia.
