55 crimes against children reported in Armenia this year

Crimes against children as a vulnerable group are at the center of the
attention of Armenian police, the head of the 3rd unit of the Main
Criminal Investigation Department Arthur Vardanyan told reporters.

55 crimes against children were reported in the first four months of
2014 as compared to 74 crimes in the same period of last year, the
unit head said.

According to him, most crimes committed against children are related
to damage to health.
