TURKMEN-ARMENIAN COOPERATION DISCUSSED IN ASHGABAT

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov received Minister
of Culture of Armenia Hasmik Poghosyan last week who arrived to take
part in the celebrations of the Day of Revival, Unity and Magtymguly
Pyragy Poetry on May 18.
The sides discussed development of Turkmen-Armenian cooperation in
cultural and humanitarian spheres. They highlighted the importance of
further strengthening of cultural exchange and scientific contacts
to explore the historical and cultural heritage of the Turkmen and
Armenian peoples.
Holding of regular international forums with participation of
scientists and experts of the two countries was suggested.
The President and the Armenian Minister of Culture expressed confidence
that relations between the two countries will continue to successfully
develop.
