Armenian Legion Will Be Formed For Liberation of Kessab

The delegation of West Armenia headed by its president Armenak
Abrahamyan laid flowers to the Armenian Genocide Memorial at Holy
Mother Church of Latakia on April 24. As he commemorated the victims
fo the genocide, he noted that the events of Kessab at the beginning
of the 21st century are the continuation of the Armenian genocide of
the early 20th century. The delegation of West Armenia condemns the
Turkish government for displacement of Armenians from Kessab. Armenak
Abrahamyan also expressed concerns over the reaction of the Armenian
president to and the actions of the Armenian president against the
group of veterans of Artsakh war who were going to arrive in Kessab.

Armenians of different countries of the world are ready to participate
in the liberation of Kessab to return the town to the Armenians. The
president of West Armenia has signed a decree on forming an Armenian
defense legion to ensure the security of the Armenians of Kessab.
