The topic of Armenian Genocide is presented more soberly in modern
literature, literary critic Arkmenik Nikoghosyan says.

At a meeting with reporters, the expert stressed the importance of
literary works on the subject of Armenian Genocide, noting that
justice can be achieved through literature as well.

“Literary works of Armenian writers on the subject of Armenian
Genocide must be translated and spread all over the world,” said the
literary critic.

The Armenian Genocide was recognized by Uruguay, Russia, France,
Lithuania, the Italian Chamber of Deputies, majority of U.S. states,
parliaments of Greece, Cyprus, Argentina, Belgium and Wales, National
Council of Switzerland, Chamber of Commons of Canada, Polish Sejm,
Vatican, European Parliament and the World Council of Churches.

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
