David and Nare most favorite names for newborns in Armenia

In 2013, 22,200 boys and 19,570 girls were born in Armenia, with 1,410
boys named David and 953 girls named Nare, Head of the Census and
Demography Department, Statistical Service of Armenia, Karine
Kuyumjyan told Tert.am.
Among boys’ most frequent names were Narek (1,163), Gor (693), Hayk
(603), Alex (600), Erik (494), Samvel (478), Tigran (475), Artur
(473), Arman (455).
Girls were mostly named Mari (823), Mane (383), Milena (678), Ani
(556), Elen (502), Anahit (495), Maria (488) and Anna (410).
