ARMENIA’S FOREIGN TRADE DROPS 3.3 PERCENT IN JANUARY FROM YEAR BEFORE
YEREVAN, February 20. / ARKA /. Armenia’s foreign trade in 2014
January dropped by 3.3 percent from the year before to $391.7 million,
according to the latest numbers, released today by the National
Statistical Service.
The export was said to have increased by 0.1 percent to $96.9 million,
while import was said to have declined by about 4.4% to $294.8
million. The resulting trade deficit in January totaled $197.9 million
($ 1 – 412.19 drams).
