Armenian violinist aspires for Guinness recognition – newspaper

YEREVAN. – Renowned Armenian violinist Nikolay Madoyan, who resides in
Germany, has applied for registration in the Guinness Book of World
Records, Aravot daily reports.

“He is getting ready to perform all six violin concertos of Paganini
without the use of notes, [and] in one evening.

“This unique event will take place at the Alexander Spendiarian Opera
and Ballet National Academic Theatre [in Armenian capital city
Yerevan] on February 20. The famed violinist will perform with the
accompaniment of the Theatre symphony orchestra.

“In actual fact, Yerevan will capture the attention of the music world
in several days,” Aravot writes.
