Baku, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan accedes to the International
Organization of Vine & Wine (OIV).

The Parliamentary Agrarian Policy Committee considered a law on
ratification of the agreement on the establishment of OIV.

Committee’s chair Eldar Ibrahimov said that the agreement was signed in
2001, and the instrument of ratification will indicate that Azerbaijan
does not cover the agreement on Armenia until the latter withdraws
from the occupied Azerbaijani territories and liquidates fully the
consequences of its occupation.

The meeting participants also discussed the amendments to the Law on
the Land Market. Ibrahimov also announced that the Committee will
present for the spring parliamentary session (its first plenary
meeting will be held on 3 February) the bills on the protection of
green spaces and on agricultural cooperatives.

Occupation of 20% of the territory of Azerbaijan started following
Nagorno Karabakh conflict and has been continuing for more than
20 years.

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
